Khushi Educational And Social Trust is a Mumbai based Non-profit voluntary organization working towards betterment of under privileged women and children through the most powerful medium, that of Education.

The mission of the trust is to play an active role towards building an educated, socially aware, self-reliant and a healthy society. We go by the motto: “To dutifully serve the society that we live in is true social service”. Khushi Trust is a result of coming together of social conscious, dedicated and motivated persons who firmly believe in this ideology.

The trust was formalized in 1999 and a Kids Club was formed as part of the initial activities. The main objective was to make the children understand the importance of education, to impart education to under privileged children, to instil moral values in them so that they grew up with good social values and into responsible citizens of the society. We conducted various activities like workshops on different topics, and organized sports events. Awards were given to children successfully completing their 10th and 12th board exams. A Kids Bank was also formed to teach them about the importance of money, savings and right use of money.

Motivated and encouraged by many, we expanded our scope of work. Several topics like Social Temperance, Gender Equality, Woman and Child Health were included. Today, we are happy to say that we have been able to touch the lives of over 1,00,000 students through our workshops and programs on our main topics like Sharir Saksharta Prakalp, English E Teach ,Vigyan Jatra, Sports camp and Art Masti in over 249 schools. Though we derive a sense of contentment and hope that we may have made small contribution in bettering their lives, we realize that we still have a long way to go. We will never waver in our work and commitment to our values and will not rest until we achieve our dream of a harmonious, educated and a healthy society.
