The Sahayogini project is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower women and promote positivity, decision-making skills, and social participation. Our mission is to support vulnerable women, including those who are destitute, single, abused, exploited, and marginalized, through training programs in tailoring, beautician, Traditional Hand embroidery and mehendi.
Addressing a Critical Need: Many women in our community are unable to work outside their homes due to family responsibilities, leading to financial difficulties for their families. To make ends meet, they often take on cutting and assembling work from companies and garment makers, but receive minimal pay despite their hard work.
Our Solution:
Sahayogini offers a range of training programs to equip women with skills to earn a decent income and gain financial independence. Our courses include:
- Tailoring: A four months program covering various garments and fabrics.
- Beautician: Two months program teaching beauty skills, including eyebrow shaping, waxing, and more.
- Mehndi: A 1-month program teaching mehndi art. In this we teach Making Heena Paste, Making of Cone, Element of Heena All types of Checks Bridle Mehndi Tricks, Arabic Design. .
- Traditional Hand embroidery - A one month program teaching Different types of stitches and beautiful patch with fineness.
