ENGLISH E TEACH is a recent program conducted by Khushi. An initiation of BCPT, the program is aimed at the school children studying in regional language schools. We have implemented this program in schools between Kurla to Kalayan. Under this program, we provide free English DVDs prepared by BCPT based on their English syllabus to students of Classes 1st to Class 4th.

The aim of this initiative is to provide every section of the society equally good quality education that they are entitled to receive. In today’s times, a working knowledge of English is required to seek even basic jobs. Therefore, the demand of English education is growing day by day. As a consequence, the students studying in regional languages feel left out and inadequate. This is also one of the reasons for the numbers of students studying in vernacular medium schools declining day by day. While we believe that children should learn in their mother tongues as it is easier for them to understand the subject matter, they should also be taught English in a way that is easy and interesting.

Ever since the implementation of the ENGLISH E TEACH Program, the attendance of students in the class has increased. The students of vernacular medium schools are rapidly learnning to pronounce English words correctly. This program is not only helping students to learn English but also helping teachers to teach the language in an easy and interesting method. We are happy to say that even though it is a recent program, in this academic year itself, we are working with over 32,000 students in over 245 vernacular medium schools.
